Hi, I’m Ramsey, the photographer behind Studio Luce Photography. I’m a Kansas City born and raised creative, married to my husband Matt, dog mom to Olive, and currently counting down the days until we welcome our baby boy this October. Life feels especially full these days, which makes documenting meaningful moments feel even more important to me.

Outside of photography, I’ve always had a deep love for the arts. I’m also a local choreographer and performer, and storytelling has been at the center of everything I do for as long as I can remember. Photography became another way for me to preserve emotion, connection, and all the little in between moments that go by way too fast.

The name Luce comes from the Italian word for “light,” and light truly inspires everything about my work. I’m drawn to warm, natural imagery that feels timeless and honest, photos that look like you, not overly posed versions of you.

My goal during every session is simple. I want you to feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely yourself. You do not need to know how to pose or worry about being “good” in front of the camera. I’ll guide you naturally while leaving space for genuine connection, movement, laughter, and emotion to unfold organically.
